Refund Policy
Purchases of Aduvera through Paddle are governed by Paddle's consumer terms because Paddle acts as the merchant of record and authorized reseller. This page summarizes the Paddle refund, cancellation, invoicing, and subscription rules that apply to those purchases alongside Aduvera's own product terms.

1. Merchant of record and contract structure
Paddle is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for certain Aduvera purchases. That means you purchase the product from Paddle using Paddle's services, while the product itself is licensed to you by Aduvera as the supplier.
By placing an order with Paddle, you agree to both Paddle's consumer terms and Aduvera's Terms of Service. If mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you additional rights, those rights still apply.

2. Order flow and invoicing
For Paddle invoiced transactions, the contract flow is: you select the product and agree to Aduvera's supplier terms, Paddle collects the personal data needed for the transaction and invoice delivery, Paddle emails you the invoice and contract invitation, and you complete payment by following the invoice instructions.
Your agreement with Paddle is concluded when the product is successfully transmitted and the invoice is paid in full, subject to Paddle's consumer terms.
3. Payments, taxes, and delivery issues
Paddle charges your chosen payment method for paid transactions, including applicable taxes based on the tax jurisdiction of the purchase. You agree to receive invoices and receipts electronically, including by email.
If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of the product, Paddle states that your exclusive remedy is replacement of the product or a refund of the amount paid, as determined by Paddle.
You must provide accurate and current billing and contact information. Paddle may decline to fulfill or may cancel orders if payment is not received, and Paddle is not responsible for non-receipt caused by incorrect information you provided.
4. Consumer right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day following completion of the transaction.
To exercise that right, you must notify Paddle before the 14-day period ends. Paddle directs buyers to contact it through paddle.net. If a cancellation is valid, Paddle says reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after Paddle is informed, using the same payment method unless another method is agreed.
5. Immediate-access digital content exception
Paddle's terms state that where the product is digital content made immediately available, by downloading or otherwise acquiring it you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once the download or transmission has begun.
Paddle also states that the consumer cancellation right does not apply to digital content that has already started downloading, streaming, or otherwise being acquired, or to products from which you have already received the benefit.
6. Refund policy for Paddle purchases
Paddle states that refunds are provided at Paddle's sole discretion on a case-by-case basis and may be refused. Paddle may refuse refund requests where it finds evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behavior.
That does not limit mandatory consumer rights for products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose. Where Paddle is the merchant of record, Paddle's refund handling process governs the payment transaction itself.
7. Wire transfer and sales tax refund rules
For wire transfers, Paddle requires correct payment details, including the unique bank transfer reference number and any applicable VAT or sales tax information, to avoid delay or reconciliation issues.
Paddle's invoiced consumer terms say wire-transfer orders are not protected under the Consumer Credit Act and are therefore not eligible for a refund, except that Paddle may in some cases allow a refund, including sales tax, at its discretion where the relevant threshold is met.
Paddle also states that if you were charged sales tax and are properly registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be eligible for a refund of the sales tax amount if local law permits it. Paddle requires contact within 60 days of the transaction and a valid sales tax code to process that type of refund.
8. Subscriptions and renewals
Paddle's services may allow paid subscriptions that renew automatically until canceled. Paddle says buyers are charged between 00:00 and 01:00 UTC on the renewal date.
To avoid the next renewal charge, Paddle requires cancellation at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period through paddle.net, including the order number and purchase email address. Cancellation takes effect on the next payment date. Paddle states there are no refunds for unused subscription periods.
If a free trial is offered, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If Paddle cannot charge the payment method and you have not canceled, you remain responsible for unpaid amounts, and Paddle may cancel the subscription.
9. Suspension, fraud, and service termination
Paddle may terminate the agreement, terminate the product license, or block access to its services if it believes you failed to comply with its terms. Paddle also reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services and to cancel or block access where fraud or malicious activity is suspected.
Paddle may cooperate with law enforcement or financial crime authorities where evidence of malicious, fraudulent, or criminal activity is found.
10. Governing law
Paddle's terms state that for consumers resident in the United States, the agreement and related transactions are governed by New York law, with disputes subject to binding arbitration in New York, NY, subject to the injunctive-relief carveout in Paddle's terms.
For other consumers, Paddle states that the agreement is governed by the laws of England, except to the extent mandatory law of the consumer's country of residence applies.
11. Contact and controlling terms
For refunds, cancellations, invoice amendments, and Paddle billing questions, Paddle directs buyers to paddle.net. Copyright notices under Paddle's terms may be sent to [email protected].
